It's a good gun but for the pricetag of the gun itself, you're better off sticking to a CZ

I’m glad you put this out. I just picked up a P01 and I already have the shadow 2. My P01 is the sweet OD green model and runs like a top. I think that out of the series (75, shadow 2, P09, P01) the 01 fits best in my hand. There isn’t a reason besides the clout and smoother internals go get the s2 compact. It looks cool and nice but I would rather have a gun dedicated to either duty or gamer use. I so wished CZ would’ve made a stack half micro like everyone else, just to keep them relevant. By now it’s too late.

If you own a PPK and/or a 1911, chances are you didn't buy it because it got good reviews.

Meprolight has come out with two enclosed pistol optics that appear to have similar specifications. Two versions… on for slim pistols, and one for standard size pistols. I would be very interested to see your reviews of those optics. I think you do a very thorough job. Appreciate all you do

I have a czp07 that gun would probably be the one you could carry and drop in mud and water and still work where the staccato would be juat a home car gun probably can't get dirty and still worl as reliable

I looked at a Fuse and a Legion yesterday at Triangle Shooters Academy in Raleigh. The Fuse they showed me had an optic that appeared externally like the one you are presenting. I put my pinky in the rear and touched the front lens. Buyer beware. TSA is somewhat a Sig brand seller. All of the displays near the front of the store are exclusively Sig. And they try to sell me a brand new gun with the incorrect optic

I have the Romeo 5 on my AR and it has hit every door jam, washer/dryer, door, fence, trees, been dropped uphill and downhill and never has it stopped working or broke. They make some tough optics, that's for sure !!!!!!

Hopefully SIG and other manufacturers can hear your podcast and build a broadcast package for local, area and foreign clubs to show the world the beauty of practical shooting sport. 👌🏼

Got a pair so far love them. Still need pelators (unless better recommendations) my helmet but these are great for range day and riding the mower.

The prodigy and LFA Apollo are garbage. I’ve had both and both were turds. I have a Mac 9 ds on the way and will try that out. No one expects a 1k 2011 to run like a $2500 2011. But for 1k and $500 in upgrades it is a phenomenal price. I can’t speak on reliability as of yet but when I grab it tomorrow I will be sending 500rds through it. I will see how that goes.

An excellent insight from a very knowable individual into the future. It is good to see Sig's development of their electronic sights. I had one of their earlier MRDs and was very disappointed in it. I may have to change my view of their dependable in the EDC role.
